Biden commends Morocco’s swift action in managing earthquake disaster

US President Joseph Biden has again expressed his condolences to Morocco over the recent earthquake which claimed several  lives and destroyed many physical structures.

It was the second time that the US president offered the condolences even as he commended the swift and efficient crisis management of the  major natural disaster. He made the statement in a phone call to King Mohammed VI and reaffirmed US’   deep partnership with  Morocco.

Biden also expressed the readiness of the US to provide the necessary aid and support to the Kingdom based on the needs identified by Moroccan authorities and as part of the Kingdom’s multi-faceted action plan to deal with this tragedy.
