“Exclusive” Martin O’Neill Celtic Future Revealed as Rangers Clash Could Have Major Consequences

Martin O’Neill could ease growing concerns over his position as Celtic manager by guiding his team to victory against Rangers on Sunday, according to reports from Football Insider.

Pressure has started to build around O’Neill following a difficult run of results. Celtic suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup last weekend before losing 3-1 to Ferencvaros in the Europa League during the week.

Despite those setbacks, Celtic remain top of the Premiership after winning all of their league matches so far. However, O’Neill’s position has reportedly come under scrutiny, with some supporters questioning whether he is the right man to remain in charge.

Football Insider’s latest Transfer Insider podcast claims that a victory over Rangers could put an end to any internal discussions about O’Neill’s future and give the manager some much-needed breathing room.

Celtic will welcome Rangers to Parkhead for another Old Firm showdown, with Derek McInnes’ side arriving in strong form after recording five consecutive victories.

O’Neill is not expected to be dismissed if Celtic suffer another defeat on Sunday. However, another loss would increase the pressure on him and leave the manager needing an immediate response after the international break.

If Celtic continue to struggle as the season progresses, the club’s board could eventually be forced to reconsider O’Neill’s position.
